Terms of Service

1. Scope

These terms govern your use of PimpThis CV! (pimpthiscv.com). By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The service

The platform helps you tailor your CV to job descriptions using artificial intelligence, edit and export it, and track job applications. The service is currently free of charge. We may change, limit or discontinue features at any time.

3. AI generated content and no liability for errors

The service relies on artificial intelligence. AI models can make mistakes and "hallucinate", meaning they may produce content that is inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or invented. Although the platform is designed never to invent experience, we cannot guarantee that every output is correct. You must carefully review and verify all information (CVs, cover letters, match scores, skill gaps, resources and suggestions) before using or sending it. You alone are responsible for the content you submit to employers. The platform accepts no responsibility for errors, omissions or consequences arising from AI generated content, including rejected applications or misrepresentation.

4. Your account and content

• You must provide truthful information and keep your login credentials safe.
• You keep all rights to the content you upload. You grant us the rights needed only to provide the service.
• You must not upload content that is unlawful, infringes third party rights, or belongs to someone else without permission.
• You must not misuse the service, attempt to access other users' data or overload the system.

5. Third party services

Job links, AI providers and API keys you add are governed by the respective third party terms. We are not responsible for third party websites or services.

6. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, liability for any direct or indirect damages, loss of data, lost opportunities or lost profits is excluded. This does not apply to liability for intent or gross negligence, or where mandatory law (including EU consumer protection law) provides otherwise.

7. Termination and deletion

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time from your Profile page. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. See the Privacy Policy for how data is handled.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the new version.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is Zurich, Switzerland. Consumers resident in the EU retain the protection of the mandatory laws and courts of their country of residence.
